Diego Céspedes is a Chilean filmmaker. Born in 1995, he studied Film & Television at Universidad de Chile. In 2018, he wrote and directed his first short, EL VERANO DEL LÉON ELÉCTRICO (The Summer of the Electric Lion), which won the Cinéfondation First Prize at Cannes Film Festival and the Nest First Prize at San Sebastian Film Festival. He is now preparing his first feature, THE MYSTERIOUS GAZE OF THE FLAMINGO, in addition of his new short movie, LAS CRIATURAS QUE SE DERRITEN BAJO EL SOL, selected for the 61st edition of the Semaine de la Critique.
