Omar Al Abdul Razzak is a Canarian filmmaker trained in Madrid, Paris, and Montreal. Berlinale Talents 2017 and Biennale College 2017 alumni. Torino Film Lab Up&Coming 2018. He has produced more than 10 films. He has directed the documentaries PARADISO (2014) and LA TEMPESTAD CALMADA (2016) and the short film LOS ESPACIOS CONFINADOS (2019). LA PRIMA COSA, a documentary short film, has had its world premiere at Annecy International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Animation Short Film at the Spanish Academy Awards in 2023. He has just presented the feature film MATAR CANGREJOS, which won the award for Best Film in the Zonazine section at the Málaga Film Festival.
