He studied Film and Philosophy and Master Creative Documentary at Pompeu Fabra University. He has made the full-length documentary films THE HIDDEN CITY (La ciudad oculta, 2018), Best Documentary Film at the Feroz Awards, and EDIFICIO ESPAÑA (The Building, 2012), nominated for the Goya Spanish Academy Awards for Best Documentary, and short films such as THE STONE (La piedra, 2013), THE STRANGER (El extraño, 2009) or LOVEBIRDS (2021), internationally awarded. His films have been shown in more than 30 international festivals such as IDFA, San Sebastián, Karlovy Vary, Viennale, San Francisco, BAFICI, Tallinn Black Nights or Visions du Réel, and exhibited in places such as the Lincoln Center (New York), the Pompidou Museum (Paris), the Barbican Center (London), and Reina Sofia Museum (Madrid). He had offered master classes about his films in universities such as La Sorbonne (Paris) or the University of Southern California (Los Angeles). From 2015 to 2017 he was the artistic director of the Muestra de Cine of Lanzarote, in Canary Islands.
