Laura Ferrés

Laura Ferrés (Barcelona, 1989). Graduated in film direction from ESCAC (Spain). Her first project, A PERRO FLACO, was selected at 60 festivals around the world such as SEMINCI 2014 (Spain) and Montreal World Film Festival 2015 (Canada). Her second short film, LOS DESHEREDADOS, premiered at La Semaine de la Critique de Cannes 2017 where it won the Leica Cine Discovery Prize for Best Short Film in Competition.

She is currently presenting her first feature film LA IMATGE PERMANENT, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and winner of the Golden Spike at the 68th International Film Festival of Valladolid - SEMINCI.
