Genís Rigol Alzola

Genís Rigol is an animator and comic book artist.

His animation process combines technical skills and experimentation, to create impressive stories, such as the short film KNOCKSTRIKE, co-directed with Pau Anglada and Marc Torices, which has been selected in 30 festivals including Sundance and Clermont-Ferrand.

Genís has also worked on many productions for advertising and tv-series such as Rick and Morty.

Currently, the winner of the Jury Award for Best National Short Film at Weird Market 2022 with his short film EL CORRIÓ JUNTO A SU CAMARADA (He Ran Alongside His Comrade).
