Alex Sardà

Barcelona, 1989

Graduated from ESCAC in 2012, Alex Sardà collaborates mainly with the production companies Nanouk Films and 15L Films. He has directed the fiction short film GANG (2019) about male group dynamics and their impunity. And the short film FUGA (Nanouk Films & Movistar+, 2021) co-created with Enric Auquer to explore the limits of responsibility and the inheritance transmitted from parents to children.

In the field of documentaries, he has directed the short film CIUDAD DE GRANADA 145-149 (15L Films, 2020) and the feature documentary HAFREIAT (15L Films, 2022), following the daily life of Abo Dya, a Palestinian worker in an archaeological site in northern Jordan.

He is also the composer of the soundtrack of EL CAMÍ MÉS LLARG PER TORNAR A CASA, winner of the Gaudí for best Catalan film in 2016.
