Alex Sardà

Barcelona, 1989

Graduated in Direction of Photography by ESCAC in 2012 and Director, Photographer and Musician by profession. He has focused his career on the realization of music videos and hybrid documentary projects between the two disciplines. Working for the documentary production companies Vice, Nanouk Films and 15.L Films, and the advertising production companies Sofa Experience, Playground.

He has made music videos for La Plata, Carla or SVPER and the Documentary / Musical Experiment FAMÈLIC SESSIONS for the Famèlic Records label, presented at the D'A festival in Barcelona in 2016. At the end of 2017, he directs with fundings from ICAA and ICEC, the fiction short film GANG. And in 2018 his first Feature Documentary, "The Settlement" following the day by day life of a worker in a Neolithic site in Jordan under a European archaeologists supervision.

As a photographer, he has published three photo books with the publisher Clandestine (ES / MX). MUJERES, following the band of the same name on a European tour, TERRITORY OF CHECKPOINT about their trips over 10 years and SWEET PEA RISOTTO.

He is a member of the bands Heather and Acción Diplomática and has composed the soundtrack of EL CAMÍ MÉS LLARG PER TORNA A CASA, the winning film of the Gaudí prize for best Catalan film in 2016.
