Sara Sálamo

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1992

Sara Sálamo dubbed her first short film at eleven. That was the seed for her to study acting and she eagerly waited for her to come of age to move to Madrid and be an actress. During the last fourteen years, she has worked in theater, film, and television and under the direction of directors such as Asghar Farhadi or Pedro Almodóvar. But her passion for the seventh art did not end with being an actress, her activism, her passion for the word, and her way of seeing and understanding life, led her also to study scriptwriting and film direction to tell their own stories. THE APPLE is her debut as a director and screenwriter.
