Sandra Reina

Sandra Reina (Barcelona, 1988) is a Catalan film director and AD. She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University.

She started her career as a production assistant, developing projects for Inicia Films, La Lupa Produccions or About a Bicycle Prod., and then became assistant director for feature films like LLUC SKY WALKER by Jaume Fargas, ONE DAY I SAW 10.000 ELEPHANTS by Juan Pajares and Àlex Guimerà, or UNICORNIOS by Àlex Lora, and TV series as OH MY GOIG (5 seasons, for Betevé) and short films as THE INNER CODE by Pau Subirós.

In 2017 she was also selected at Rotterdam Lab, and in 2019 she made her debut in directing with the short film TRIVIAL, with Macarena Gómez, which had a long journey in festivals, achieving 11 awards and more than 30 selections. As a scriptwriter, her script ‘El nido' (The nest) was selected at the VIII Script Lab by SGAE, under the mentoring of Montxo Armendáriz, and her short film EL BUS was awarded as the best project in AccióCurts by Dones Visuals.
