Enric Ribes
Barcelona, 1989
Enric Ribes Reig graduated in audiovisual communication in Barcelona and has since focused his work on documentaries. His works have been selected for festivals such as the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Sheffield DocFest, Clermont-Ferrand, Hamptons, Kraków Film Festival, D'A Barcelona, and have won awards at Docudays UA, DocumentaMadrid, Pordenone Doc Fest, Docsbarcelona, and Málaga Biznaga de Plata for Best Documentary Short Film for GREYKEY. His latest film, CANTANDO EN LAS AZOTEAS (Singing on the Rooftops), was included in the shortlist of the 25 best documentaries of 2022 by the prestigious International Documentary Association (IDA). It also received a nomination for the Gaudi Awards in the documentary category and for the Feroz Awards in ‘Non-fiction Arrebato’.
