Antonio Llaneza
Oviedo, Asturias, 1999
He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid and studied Film Directing at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC). He directed and produced his first short films during his training at ESCAC, including Centrifugadoras (2021), Güelita (2021), Lata de Sardinas (2022), and Yashika.mov (2023). All of them premiered at the Gijón International Film Festival, and some were later included in the distribution catalogue of Laboral Cinemateca. In 2023, he directed and produced the short film Susurros, which was selected at festivals such as FICX, Cinema Jove, OutFest Perú, Oriéntate Llanes, and Avilés Acción. La Soterraña is his most recent project as director and producer. The project was developed at the FilmLAB LaC6 film project development laboratory. Antonio has also worked as a screenwriter on the feature film La Gran Manzana, directed by David de la Cruz, and as executive producer of the short film Un golpe de amor, directed by Ana G. Sierra, currently in development. This project was one of the twelve selected for Euro Connection, the industry section of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
