He was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and went to Madrid to study at the age of 18. After graduating from university, he studied Film Directing at the School of Cinematography and Audiovisuals of the Community of Madrid (ECAM).
Later, he worked as a director and editor, producing commercials and documentaries for companies such as Myspace and the production company New Atlantis, until he decided to return to the Canary Islands. There he co-wrote, with director David Pantaleón, the film RENDIR LOS MACHOS (Our Father) and works as a screenwriter and screenwriting teacher at the Canary Islands Film Institute (ICC).
