Alba Santos Cloux

Alba Santos Cloux is a Spanish and Swiss screenwriter and director based in Spain. She holds a degree in Journalism and combines the development of her own documentary projects, such as "Corps seul" and "Marie", with her work at SUICAfilms, where she has collaborated on internationally recognised films. Filmography: "Corps seul" (2026) – short film, debut work. Produced by SUICAfilms. Supported by the Spanish Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA) and the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC). "Marie" – feature documentary in development. Produced by SUICAfilms. Recipient of the ICAA screenwriting grant in 2025. The film explores the solitude and stigma surrounding abortion through an intergenerational dialogue between her grandmother Marie and the director.
