Rocío Quillahuaman

Lima, 1994

Rocío Quillahuaman was born in Lima in 1994 and arrived in Barcelona in 2005. She is an illustrator, scriptwriter and makes animations about people she doesn't like. She collaborates creating humorous animation pieces with various media and entities and has lost count of how many animated videos she has already made, but around 600 approximately. She has also written a book about migration and identity called “Marrón”, published by the publishing house Blackie Books and was a resident at the Spanish Academy in Rome during 2024, where she made her first animated short “Puriykachay”.
