LOIS PATIÑO (Spain, 1983) His videos and videoinstalations have been shown in international art centresand festivals as Locarno, Toronto, Rotterdam, San Francisco, Ann Arbour, Viennale, Cinema du rèel...Specific focuses on his work have been developed in places as NYFF, BAFICI, Flaherty Seminar... And was invited to show his work at universities such as Harvard -Sensory Ethnography Lab-, CalArts...His work "Mountain in Shadow" won prizes at Oberhausen, Clermont-Ferrand, Bucharest EIFF, FIDOCS...And at the Locarno IFF he recieved the prize for the best emerging director with his work "Costa da Morte".This feature film also get other 15 awards at festivals such as Jeonju IFF, FICUNAM, Festival dei Popoli, Valdivia IFF, SEFF Sevilla...
