Civilization has been laid waste by a general amnesia. In a desperate attempt to preserve any of their memories, humans turn themselves to the Xirst Clinic, a center run by the Keenies, tiny little beings specialised in retrieving the last vestiges of humanity´s memories.
#166 a low level keenie, finds out that the patient assigned to them, is being held up against her own wishes. Defying the rules, #166 decides to put an end to her treatment, risking their very own life.
