She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country. She has been working in the animation industry for almost 20 years, serving as an animator and background artist for various animation production companies, including Imira Entertainment (Lola y Virginia, Sandra detective de cuentos, Lucky Fred), and Anima Kitchent (PINY Institute of New York). In this field, my most recent work was in the art department of Pablo Berger's latest feature film, ROBOT DREAMS (2023), premiered in the Official Selection at Cannes 2023, awarded as the best film in the ContreChamp section at the Annecy Festival 2023, and nominated the Oscar Academy Award for Best Animation and nominee for four Goya Awards for the 2024 edition.
Additionally, she has designed movie posters for films such as O FUTEBOL by Sergio Oksman, LA HERIDA by Fernando Franco, and MAPA by León Siminiani. In recent years, she has worked as the audiovisual director for the music group Vetusta Morla, directing visuals for their "Mismo Sitio, Distinto Lugar tour", for which they received the Ondas National Music Award for the Best Show. She has also collaborated with the production company XLR in creating visuals for Alejandro Sanz's "El Disco World Tour".
Simultaneously, she has been developing her own animation projects, including the co-directed short film with Fernando Franco, EL LUGAR ADECUADO (2016), the piece CALAMARDRID, a stop-motion animation curtain, and my latest animated short film YO (2020), selected at Annecy 2020. YO has received the Madrid en Corto award, the 1st prize at ALCINE 2020, the Caimán Award in Aguilar de Campoo 2020, Best Animation at the Vitoria-Gasteiz – Cortada Festival 2020, and Best International Film at the 14th Ibero-American Animation Film Showcase BAIXADA ANIMADA 2020. It was also included in the list of animated short films qualified for the 2021 Oscars.
